Academic Integrity
The work you submit must be your own and all sources must be acknowledged. There are serious consequences for not committing to your academic obligations, so we have developed a subject to help.
Academic integrity is the expectation that teachers, students, researchers and all members of the academic community act with: honesty, trust, fairness, respect and responsibility. Breaching academic integrity is also known as ‘academic misconduct’.
- The Academic Integrity subject takes about 1.5 hours to complete.
- It is a mandatory subject for all Charles Sturt students.
- If you have not completed the Academic Integrity subject by the end of session, your grades will not be visible to you in line with our Academic Integrity Policy.
How to complete the subject
- Work through the Academic Integrity subject in Interact2.
- Complete the quizzes to demonstrate your understanding.
There are five short quizzes to complete. You will need to score 80% on each quiz to demonstrate your competence.
In most cases, you only need to complete this course once. However, if you receive a finding of academic misconduct, you may be required to repeat the course.

Do you have two student records?
Some of our students have two active student IDs, as they may have completed a different course previously, or are studying in concurrent sessions.
If you have two active student IDs (an A and B ID) you only need to complete this subject once. You are only enrolled in the Academic Integrity Subject once. If you have trouble getting into the subject under one ID, please try logging in under your other ID/username. If you receive communication but are confident you've completed the subject, you may have an A and B ID.
When you complete the AI subject, the grade hold will be removed from both A and B IDs.
