Timetables
MyTimetable lets you plan and view all on-campus classes you're studying in the upcoming session.
We understand having a clash-free timetable that fits in with your life is important to you!
MyTimetable, allows you to easily view and plan your on-campus classes for the upcoming session. You will be able to see your compulsory lectures and choose times for tutorials, practicals and workshops that best suit you.
First, figure out if you need to use MyTimetable
You will use MyTimetable for;
- internal on-campus subjects at Albury-Wodonga, Bathurst, Dubbo, Orange, Port Macquarie and Wagga Wagga campuses.
- this includes on-campus classes studied during our Micro Sessions.
You won't use My Timetable for;
- Online subjects
- Residential School activities
- Study Centre or other partner institutions. Your class timetable will be provided by your institution.
Then, plan and build your timetable
The process of choosing classes is known as ‘allocating’. Allocations are on a ‘first in, first served’ basis. The most popular classes fill quickly, so for the best chance of getting the class times you want, be prepared!

What to do if...
-
There's a clash with your classes chevron_right
We do our best to avoid clashes, however, sometimes they do occur.
It is important to rectify a clash as soon as possible.
If you’re studying at a Study Centre or other partner institution, please contact them directly if you have any questions about your timetable.
If you’re studying an on-campus subject at one of our main campuses please:
- Check to see if there is another class you could choose.
- Core subjects take priority over electives. If your timetable clash is with a core subject and an elective, or two electives, you’ll need to either:
- select another elective
- study the elective online.
- If your timetable clash is with two core subjects, complete and submit the Clash Resolution Form. We will be in touch.
If you have any questions or concerns about class clashes, contact Student Central.
-
Your classes are full chevron_right
Some classes may fill quickly. We recommend looking up the key dates and picking your classes as soon as the allocation opens.
If your preferred class is full
If you are unable to allocate because your preferred class is full, allocate into a class you are able to and request a swap into the class you would prefer – if a place becomes available you will be notified by email.
If all classes are full
The WAITLIST feature is available. If your activities are full, you can request to join a waitlist. If a place becomes available you will be notified by email. If required, we will schedule extra activities. Check your timetable for these to appear.
-
You can't sign up to a class chevron_right
You won’t need to sign up to a class if there is only one option to attend or your lecturer has allocated you to a class.
Due to complex timetabling requirements, some subjects will remain as read-only. These activities will be managed by your Subject Coordinator who will provide you with more information at Orientation, when you attend your first lecture or via Interact 2.
Your Subject Coordinator’s details are available in the subject outlines.
Subject outlines are available 14 days prior to the start of session.
-
You haven’t heard about your swap request? chevron_right
At the end of week one of session we’ll clear all swap requests. If you have an outstanding swap request and still wish to switch classes, we’ll invite you to submit your request again. If you’re happy with your timetable as it is, you wont need to do anything. Come census date all requests will be cleared.

You're an online student and don't use MyTimetable chevron_right
If you're an online student, your course is much more flexible. So flexible that, you don't technically have a timetable! You will be provided with a schedule to guide you on what needs to be done and when, but you won't have your class times locked into a timetable. Your schedule is available in your subject outline.
Occasionally, your lecturer may also want you to attend an online meeting. They'll let you know when these are via your Interact2 site, so keep an eye out for announcements.
If you are required to attend a residential school, you'll get your timetable from your subject coordinator in your Interact2 site. You won't need to use MyTimetable.
